Accompanied by my very helpful and enthusiastic friend, Emily, PJ’s for Patients made it’s second delivery to Sloan-Kettering’s Pediatric Department last Thursday, April 17th. It was a success, and I’m so grateful to everybody who has given PJ’s for Patients any kind of support thus far.
Some other news:
-We’re looking for wholesale cotton pajama suppliers. If you know of any, please leave a comment!
-We are also trying to make an arrangement with the pediatric cancer department of Mount Sinai Hospital for our next collection/delivery.
-And, as always, we could always use donations of 100% cotton pajamas, as well as books, movies, toys, crayons, iTunes gift cards, coloring books, and other things along those lines. Also, if you’re interested in hosting a PJ’s for Patients fundraiser (perhaps a pajama day?) at your school/workplace, please let me know.
Have an awesome day!
I’m so proud of my high school, Fontbonne Hall Academy; after our Do Something Club paired up with PJ’s for Patients, we hosted a very successful dress-down day and pajama/toy drive. Thank you SO, SO much for everybody who has supported PJ’s for Patients thus far! It means so much to me, and I am so enthusiastic to continue our work!
We will be making our second delivery to Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Pediatrics Department tomorrow!
-46 coloring books
-43 packs of crayons
-2 packs of construction paper
-2 packs of markers
-3 play packs
-1 board game
-1 journal with pens
-1 iTunes gift card
Hello!! Today, Fontbonne’s Do Something Club hosted it’s first PJ’s for Patients dress down day!! It was a phenomenal success- Bonnies and faculty members helped raise over $900 for our cause!! This money will be used to purchase 100% cotton jammies for the Pediatrics Department of Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
Thanks so much for everybody who was involved in making today so great! I’m very grateful! 🙂
